Who is the Savvy Homegirl?

From Savvy Homegirl
I am not an expert. In fact, I am really just a country girl living in the big city. I grew up on a dairy farm in rural Ontario. I studied business in university, and started working for a major agricultural equipment manufacturer right away. After moving 3 times in 6 months, I decided with my next promotion that my years of renting were over.

In 2007, I entered the ranks of being a homeowner and bought a 1950's bungalow. In 2008, I started blogging about my adventures as a single girl owning an attention-loving home. The content has morphed a little, since I learned that my single income can not pay the mortgage, bills, car expenses and still renovate to my desire. I believe my stories are worth sharing and am inspired by the professional bloggers out there. I have no idea where I hope this endeavour will go, so long as I continue to enjoy blogging!

My brothers, both dairy and crop farmers, and I were featured in the Ontario Farm Animal Council's 2006 "Faces of Farming" calender.
