House Tour

This is an evolving timeline of where I've come with this little home-owning adventure. Unfortuantely, I didn't take many 'before' photos, so if I can dig out the photos from the MLS listing, I'll post them.

Living Room
The front door enters into a large room which serves as my combination living & dining room. Over the past couple years, it has transformed as I've aquired new-to-me furniture and decor. When I bought the house, the wall with the fireplace as dark blue. The day I took possession of the house, I painted the entire room C.I.L. 'Vine' green. A bold colour choice, but one I continue to adore nonetheless.

Before Move-in:

Kitchen
I am very lucky to have a renovated kitchen. It really hasn't changed much since I moved in, but I do have my dreams set on white cupboards with a chalkboard panty, possibly new countertops (I really don't like the green) and stove.

Bathroom
The bathroom had also been recently renovated when I took ownership of my house. Besides some minor repairs and cauking, I haven't touched it. I do think the tub is too big for the room, however and I never use it. I'd prefer storage space and at least for a toilet paper holder!

Master Bedroom
This room also got a fresh coat of paint before I moved in. It was burgandy and cream. Think 90's farmhouse burgandy and forest green, and you get the idea. I picked a dark chocolate brown accent and taupe walls.

Spare Bedroom
I have transformed this room from a little boy's room to a comfortable guest room. Unfortunately, it's currently the storage area for my office reno. I'll get 2010 photos up once I can get the boxes out!

Office / Bedroom # 3 / Craft Room
This is a work in progress. It was originally a bedroom, but it's also one of two access points to the deck. The other is my bedroom, so this room get a lot of traffic. With this in mind, I converted it to an office. Unfortuantely, I found I rarely used it, and I have since decided to transform it into an office / craft space. It's been an ongoing project I have blogged and mentioned for over a year. Goal: Complete by fall.
